My Practice in Prague
Thanks to the Erasmus+ programme, I had a chance to work and live in Prague for two weeks.
From September 29 to October 10. I spent a memorable time there. It was a great opportunity to
explore a new city and experience a different culture. We stayed at Hotel Henrietta, which waslocated in a quiet area. The staff was kind and always willing to help.
During my visit, I saw many different landmarks and historic sites. I visited the Charles Bridge,
the Old Town Square, the Astronomical Clock and several other beautiful places around the city.
I really enjoyed the amazing architecture, the unique atmosphere, and the rich history of Prague.
The city looked especially charming in the evening when the lights reflected on the river. The
food was good, and I was pleased with the meals I tried. Transport was simple and fast, making iteasy to move around the city without stress.
I worked at Farma Letná s.r.o. in Prague, which gave me an opportunity to experience local work
and meet people. My co-workers were friendly and helpful, and I learned a lot from them.
I especially enjoyed evening walks around Prague and fast public transport. Every street in
Prague had something interesting to see. I would love to visit Prague again in the future.
Overall, my stay in Prague was an unforgettable experience that gave me beautiful memories.Linda III.A
Internship in Prague
My name is Adela and I am a fourth-year student at the Business Academy in Ružomberok. I had the
opportunity to take part in an Erasmus+ internship abroad in the Czech Republic – in Prague. The internship lasted 14 days, from September 28th to October 11th.The journey went well. In Ružomberok, we got on the train and after about six hours we arrived in
Prague. From there, we took the underground to our accommodation. We stayed in the three-star Hotel
Henrieta, where every morning we had a tasty and rich breakfast. In the evening, the cook always
prepared delicious dinners for us – often according to our choice, and there was always a small sweet treat
in the end.During the internship, I worked together with a student named Tamara in a printing company called
Viaprint, where Mr. Kraus was responsible for us. It is a small family company focused on printing
promotional and advertising materials. Our task was to look for companies that might be interested in
their services, contact them by phone, and present our offer. Mr. Kraus printed some helpful texts for us,
so we knew what to say. The beginnings were a bit difficult, but after a few days we became more
confident. We later sent emails with our offer to the companies that were interested. After work, we had trips and sightseeing activities. We took a guided tour of Prague, visited Kutná Hora,
including the Bone Church and the Cathedral of St. Barbora. In the evenings, we enjoyed walks through
the city, shopping, or nice dinners in restaurants. This foreign internship taught me to be more responsible, independent, and reliable. I also improved my
communication skills and learned how to present and offer services to potential customers. I am really
thankful that I could experience this opportunity again, because such chances do not come very often.
Jankolová IV. BESSAY
In September, on the 29th, I took part in an internship in Prague through the Erasmus+
program, which supports education, training, and sports for young people in Europe.
We travelled to Prague by train from Ružomberok, and after our arrival, we got to our
accommodation by tube. The hotel was close to the tube, tram, and other public transport,
which made it very easy to move around the city. Each of us found our own way to get to work – it taught us independence,
responsibility, and gave us confidence to communicate with people around us. At work, I
discovered a completely new environment that gave me many new experiences and opened
new perspectives. I improved my communication skills, learned not to be afraid to ask for
help, and understood how important teamwork is. I also had the chance to see another side of
life and meet people from higher society.Breakfast and dinner were provided at the hotel – in the morning before work and in
the evening around 5 p.m. During the lunch break, we could choose and buy our own meal.
Almost every day after work, we had a planned program. We joined a guided city tour,
visited Vyšehrad with a beautiful view of Prague at night, went to Petřín Hill, and walked
across the Charles Bridge several times. We also took a full-day trip to Kutná Hora, where we
visited the Bone Church and the beautiful St. Barbara’s Cathedral. This internship was an amazing and unforgettable experience that I would recommend
to anyone who has the chance to join the Erasmus+ program. It showed me a different world
and way of life in a big city, which is very different from what I know in Slovakia.
Tatiana IV.BMobility in Prague
Taking part in the Erasmus+ programme that was happening in Prague was a
fantastic experience that lasted from September 28th to October 11th. I traveled to
the Czech Republic primarily for professional reasons, focusing my efforts on my
duties at the company ADDITEQ s.r.o. The transportation method for getting toPrague was the train, which offered a calm way to arrive and depart from the city.
The work itself was engaging, and I felt I made good progress during my time there.
For my accommodation throughout the two weeks, I stayedat Hotel Henrietta. It was
a comfortable place to rest after long days of work and sightseeing. Traveling withinPrague was convenient; I mostly relied on the excellent public transport system. I
found the train journeys to be efficient and a good way to see parts of the city quickly.
During my non-working hours, we dedicated time to exploring the historical heart of
Prague. I made sure to visit the famous Charles Bridge. Prague Castle was another
major highlight; its architecture is truly breathtaking. I also spent time wandering
through the Old Town Square, admiring the famous Astronomical Clock. The local food was another aspect I greatly enjoyed exploring. I tried several
traditional Czech meals, which were hearty and flavorful. To summarize, the combination of productive work at ADDITEQ s.r.o. and the cultural
immersion in Prague made this trip highly valuable. I especially loved the atmosphere
of the historical center in the evenings. It was a well-balanced experience combining
professional growth with memorable sightseeing. I would certainly recommend
Prague to anyone visiting for work or leisure.Liana IV.A
