Žiaci si budú zvyšovať svoje vedomosti a získavať pracovné skúsenosti a zručnosti v niekoľkých podnikoch a jazykových školách pod vedením miestnych mentorov.

Zahraničná prax  Obchodnej akadémie vo Viedni a v Miláne

Niektorí prvýkrát bez rodičov mali možnosť vyskúšať si samostatný život, spolužitie so spolužiakmi, orientáciu vo veľkomeste, cestovanie metrom, ale i hospodárenie s vlastnými financiami.

Vo Viedni napr. navštívili zámky Hofburg, Schönbrunn, Belvedere, historické centrum s námestím Márie Terézie s budovami Parlamentu, Radnice a svetoznámej Opery, či  dominantný Dóm sv. Štefana.  Veľa príjemných chvíľ strávili aj v zábavnom parku Prater, kde si so svojimi vyučujúcimi vychutnali čaro mnohých zábavných atrakcií.

A čo študenti v Miláne? Cesta lietadlom, veľa smiechu, minimalizmus na ubytovni, dôsledné triedenie odpadu, skoré ranné vstávanie, kilometre chodenia, neustále blúdenie, nekonečné cesty metrom a nezabudnuteľná talianska gastronómia v chladničke.

    • Čo by sme dopriali každému stredoškolákovi?

Okrem zlepšenia jazykových a prezentačných zručností i možnosť spoznať inú kuchyňu.

Naučil som sa orientovať vo veľkomeste, navštívil som mnoho pamiatok a lepšie som spoznal spolužiakov. (Sekan III.A)

(Mrvová, III.A)

Naučila som sa prispôsobiť okolnostiam,  prekonávať prekážky. (Drapáčová, III.A)

Stala som sa odvážnejšou, sebavedomejšou v interakcii s cudzincami, naučila som sa viac o chode logistickej firmy a samozrejme spoznala novú kultúru a skvelých ľudí. ( V.Matúšková , IV. A)

    • My Erasmus+ experience.

My name is Paula Mišovičová and I am a student of the 4th grade. This year our school took part in Erasmus+ program again. At first students had to write CV and cover letters in both the Slovak and English languages. Then we had to pass an admission interview in the English language. There were two different destinations which students could apply to – Vienna and Milan. I applied for an internship in Milan.

Our journey started when we came to Bratislava by train. At 10.30 a. m. we were waiting for our check-in in Bratislava airport and then we flew by plane to Bergamo. When we landed, outside the airport a shuttle bus to our accomodation was waiting for us. The journey by plane was exciting because a few of us had not flown before. When we arrived at our accommodation, we immediately spent two hours receiving needed information from EVOLVO agency. The next day we were accompanied to our work. I worked in an estate agency with my classmate. Unfortunately, we had a pretty boring job. We were putting invoices in envelopes every day. Sometimes our mentor gave us something different to do on PC. Our way to work lasted for an hour. Everybody got transport tickets for all kinds of public transportation. Every morning we ate bread and nutella or jam and for lunch we had pasta every day. It was so annoying to eat every day the same food. For dinner we had some turkey and nothing with it – no rice, no potatoes, no vegetable, just bread. Nobody liked it, but, fortunately, once a week pizza was delivered. From time to time we ordered pizza ourselves. Sometimes after work we went to Duomo. It was the very centre of Milan. There is a well-known cathedral, many shops and lots of people. In the time of our stay in Milan there was also a fashion week and football match, so the city was overcrowded more than usually. At the weekend we went by train to see a lake called Lago di Como. It was a beautiful place with lots of small comfortable restaurants and cafes. We visited also the biggest shopping mall in Europe and a museum Leonardo da Vinci.

At the end of our stay we had a meeting with EVOLVO where we evaluated the internship and were given Certificates. On Sunday at 10 o´clock we went home, by plane again. Milan was an amazing experience for all of us. As for me, I improved my English skills, I met new people and I got to know a new culture. I would recommend going to a foreign internship to everybody for sure.

      FOREIGN PRACTICE IN VIENNA.

My name is Vanda Kmeťová. I am a student of 3.B class. In this essay I am going to write about my experience from a foreign practice in Vienna. I have to mention that our school recieved a grant from Erasmus+ programme so that is why we went for practice so far from home.

The first thing I should write about is an accommodation. I liked the apartment because it was big enough for us and I felt comfortable there. I had a room with my classmate who is also my best friend so I was really excited about it. But I have to admit that I was a little bit scared because in the apartment there were nine of us and only one bathroom. So you can imagine how long we had to wait for a shower. Anyway, this was the only negative thing about our accommodation. I liked it and I would like to get back in the future.

Food there was good but I can’t say it was nice or delicious. Every morning some man came to our teachers, who lived next to us, and gave them three meals – breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast was always the same, some pastry with butter and ham or cheese. I ate it twice and then I went to the shop to buy cereals because I didn’t like it. Lunch and dinner were packed in small boxes. This food was really saturate so I was okay with it. The taste of food was also nice so I have no negative things to say about lunch or dinner. But there is one thing I didn’t like. One day I opened my lunch and there were raw pieces of chicken meal. I didn’t eat it and instead of that lunch I made a sack soup.

One thing I miss so much in Slovakia is such a good transport. It was really great when we came to metro station and were waiting only three or five minutes for our metro. It was the same at the tram station. When we left our accommodation too late to get to work on time, it wasn’t problem, because metro and tram were arriving all thetime. I have nothing bad to say about transport in Vienna. It is definitely better than in Slovakia.

Next thing I want to write about is my job in Vienna. I simply loved it and I have no negative things to say aboutit. I worked in Volkskundemuseum and it was a beautiful experience for me. Poeple who work there are really nice and positive. Everyone helped me when I didn’t know something. I was doing basic things like preparing and copying documents, the Internet research on events in Slovakia, research on university libraries and partner institutions, translating slovak messages in exhibition guestbook, carrying out information leaflets to partner institutions and assisting on mail service. Most of the time I was working in the office and I realized that this is the job I want to do in the future - job in my own office, doing some paperworks or something on the Internet.

In my freetime I went to town with teachers and classmates and most of the time we went sightseeing. Then one day we went to Prater and it was an amazing experience. I was on rollercoaster that went upside down. I was a little scared but that adrelanine I felt was great. Next thing I enjoyed was Donauinsel. I don’t know exactly what that is, but it looked like a beach, in Miami or somewhere, but without sand. It was a river and around it were small restaurants and bars. I liked it becasue of that atmosphere and also we met new people there and took a photo with them.

I can say that I enjoed those two weeks in Vienna and everything was great so I have no negative things to say. I would like to go to foreign practice again next year and I hope that my dream comes true.

      My stay in Milan.

My name is Lýdia Kluková. I attend 3rd class at Business Academy in Ružomberok. I took part in project Erasmus+ for 2 weeks in Italy in Milano. Our journey to Milan was quite long. At first we went by train from Ružomberok to the capital city of Slovakia, to Bratislava and from there we flew to Bergamo, where we were already waiting for the shuttle bus which transported us directly to the place of our accommodationwhich was very interesting. The first day we put down our suitcases and after that we had a meeting with the team Evolvo who instructed us about the accommodation rules and they explained us everything we needed. The rooms in our accommodation were small but cozy. As for my work, I worked at iH Hotel Argone park Milano, from my point of view  it was good experience. I worked at the reception, I learned a lot of new things and improved my English skills. In Milan our time went very quickly but we managed to see many sights of this big city I liked it very much. I learned to orientate in a big city and because I liked travelling it was a very good experience for me.

      Work experience in Vienna.

My name is Silvia Žigová, the student of 3rd grade and I was among eleven students from our school who went to work practise to Vienna. We spent there 14 days from 15th to 28th September.

We arrived in the evening on Sunday. After we had checked-in at our accommodation, we went to see nightly Vienna. Our first day in Vienna was very interesting. In the morning we had an interview with our tutors. They informed us about the work we would be doing. Then we went see our work place for the first time. It was a very nice place. When we finished work, we went back to our accommodation. After lunch we wanted to go sightseeing but the tower it was closed. We were really disappointed, but finally we found a place with a nice view of Vienna. Then we went to go sightseeing to the center of Vienna. It was beautiful.

On Tuesday we went to work and our tutors split us into two groups. They told us what we will be doing. My job was to think and write about my future. When we finished our work, we went back to our accommodation. In the afternoon we went to the shopping center SCS. It was fun and I bought a lot of stuff.

On Wednesday we went to work together with another group. I answered the first part on my tasks. In the afternoon we went to Hundertwasser House with our teachers. In was really nice.

On Thursday my group worked from home because we wanted to try it. I completed the first part of my tasks and started to write the  part. After work we went to Belvedere Palace. It was beautiful and I took a lot of great pictures.

The last work day of the first week started as usual. In the morning we went to work. I finished my tasks for the first week. After work we went to Donauinsel. We stayed there until the night and we saw beautiful sunset and took a lot of pictures. It was a great day.

Next week started chaoticly because our tutors and work changed. They informed us about our work and split us into different groups with Hungarian students. In the afternoon we went to entertainment park Prater with our teachers. We tried different attractions and carousels.

On Tuesday we started working on our new tasks in groups with new people. We started working on a project for someone who sent us instructions by e-mail. In the afternoon we went to the city.

The next day I started doing market research on wedding, birthday, etc. planning services. I think I did a good job even though I was doing it for the first time. After work I went back to our accommodation and chilled and talked with my friends.

On Thursday I continued working on my tasks with my group. In the afternoon we went to shopping center SCS again. In was a good day.

On Friday we went to work and we also signed some documents. It was our last day in Vienna, so we were excited to go home. We went to the city for the last time.

Our stay in Vienna was great. Our accommodation was really nice and comfortable, the food was tasty and travelling by underground was simple. We had a great time, we learned new things and met nice people. I really enjoyed it there.
